Certified Business Continuity Professional

Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)[1] is an internationally recognized professional certification issued by DRI International, also known as the Disaster Recovery Institute, for business continuity management.

A certified professional must possess at least two years of experience within the industry, pass a qualifying exam, and provide proven experience in five out of ten subject areas.[2] The CBCP certification is currently considered DRI International's most notable and recognized certification.[3] CBCP is also considered the most widely recognized business continuity certification in the world.[4]

In an article titled "Best Backup and Disaster Recovery Certifications for 2014" on Tom's It Pro, the CBCP was labeled the "poster child" of DRI International's certifications.[5]
