Cerovec is a settlement in the Municipality of Šentjur in eastern Slovenia. It lies 10 km east of Celje and the A1 motorway crosses the settlement's territory. The area is part of the historical region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja statistical region.[2]

A hidden underground structure in the Šohta Woods near the settlement, built in 1944, was used as a secret partisan hospital (Slovene: partizanska bolnišnica Zima).[3]
