Feriha Ceren Alkan, aka Ceren Alkan (born April 8, 1990) is a Turkish women's ice hockey player. Curremtly, she is a member of Milenyum Paten SK team playing as defenceman. She takes part in the Turkey women's national ice hockey team. She is 1.61 m (5 ft 3 12 in) tall at 52 kg (115 lb).[1]

Ceren Alkan was born in Çankaya, Ankara on April 8, 1990.[1][2] She is student of Physics at the Middle East Technical University in her hometown.[2][3]

Career

Ceren Alkan began her sports career with figure skating at the age six, and became 18 times international.[3]

Club

She plays for Milenyum Paten SK in the Turkish Ice Hockey Women's League (TBHBL).[4] In the 2013-14 season, she enjoyed league championship.[5]

International

In 2011, she played at the Winter Universiade held in Erzurum, Turkey.[2][6] She was part of the national team at the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship Division II Group B qualification matches in Izmir, Turkey,[7] scoring a goal in the game against Ireland.[8] In March 2014, she was called up again for the national team.[4]
