Central Securities Repository of Poland

Central Securities Repository of Poland (Krajowy Depozyt Papierów Wartościowych, KDPW) is a central Polish institution responsible for the management and supervision of depository-settlement system for the trading of financial instruments in Poland. CSR holds securities in the uncertificated (dematerialized) form. It's a joint-stock company owned by 3 shareholders: Polish Ministry of Treasury, Polish Stock Exchange, and The National Bank of Poland. CSR operates as a department of Polish Stock Exchange since 1991 and it'a s joint-stock company since November 1994.
