Joseph Murphy (born October 4, 1996), known professionally as Celestaphone, is an American music producer from California.[1]

Early life

Celestaphone was born and raised in Riverside, California.[1] The name Celestaphone comes from his favorite zither instrument, the Celestaphone.

Music career

Celestaphone began hip hop production as part of Druggos, a loose-knit internet music collective, which additionally consisted of musicians Ben Foster and Underd0g.[2][3]

His first collaborative effort was producing Dionté BOOM's single Fish Market,[4] of which has been published by Arkansas Times in a 2015 issue of their Rock Candy journal.[5]

Celestaphone released his first solo EP, Glorifying, in 2014.[6] Menu (01-30) and Trust (31–60) followed in 2015, both 30-track albums debuting his ongoing instrumental/remix hip hop series titled Zahnreihe.[7]
