Cedrela lilloi is a species of plant in the Meliaceae (Mahogany) family. Its common name is Cedro. Other names are: atoc, cedro bayo, cedro coya, cedro de altura, cedro de Tucumán, cedro del cerro, cedro peludo, cedro salteno, cedro virgin. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Peru. It is threatened by habitat loss and listed on the IUCN Red List Of Threatened Species as "endangered."[1]
Its timber is used in construction, furniture and musical instruments.[2] Sometimes it has been used interchangeably with Cedrela odorata.
