Cedarcroft, also known as Bayard Taylor House, is a National Historic Landmark home in Chester County, Pennsylvania. "From 1859 to 1874, this was the residence of Bayard Taylor (1825-1878), poet, novelist, and Civil War correspondent. Taylor did much of his writing in this house," which he had built for his use.[2] He lived here with his wife Maria Hansen, whom he married in 1857. She was the daughter of the Danish/German astronomer Peter Andreas Hansen.

The house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1971.[2][3]
