Cavalier Records was a United States-based record label of the mid-20th century, located in San Francisco, California. The Cavalier label was founded by Tom Spinosa.[1]

Company synopsis

Notables who recorded on Cavalier include legendary guitarist Nick Lucas (backed by San Francisco's famed Jimmy Diamond Orchestra), well known Folk singer/songwriter Stan Wilson, vocalist/instrumentalist Ronny Draper (younger brother of Country singer/instrumentalist Rusty Draper), San Francisco "hum-along" pianist Burt Bales, and one of San Francisco's favorite musical sons, singer Gianfranco Giotta (see also "Gianfranco", "Caffe Trieste", "Cetra Records" and "Trieste Records"), who collaborated with composer John Verducci, Tom Spinosa and the Jimmy Diamond Orchestra to record Cavalier 7"/45 r.p.m. CV 903 "It's Never Too Late For Love" and Robert Collier's "You Never Can Tell the Depth of a Well" under the name/subtitle "Gian Franco Sings!" circa 1964.[2]
