The 2015 Castile and León parliamentary election will be held on Sunday, 24 May 2015, to elect the 9th Courts of Castile and León, the unicameral regional legislature of the Spanish autonomous community of Castile and León. At stake will be all 84 seats in the Courts, determining the President of the Junta of Castile and León.

The election will be held concurrently with the regional elections for 12 other autonomous communities, as well as the 2015 municipal elections.

Electoral system

The number of seats in the regional Courts is determined by the population count, with a minimum of 27 seats (3 per district) and 1 more seat per each 45,000 inhabitants. The members of the Castile and León Courts are elected in 9 multi-member districts using the D'Hondt method and a closed-list proportional representation. Only lists polling above 3% of the total vote in each district (which includes blank ballotsfor none of the above) are entitled to enter the seat distribution.[1]
