Caspar Bowden
Caspar Bowden is a privacy advocate, formerly chief privacy adviser at Microsoft. He is on the Tor anonymous service network board of directors.[1]
Biography
Bowden co-founded and was first director of the Foundation for Information Policy Research (FIPR). Bowden was awarded the Winston award in 2000. From 2002–2004 he was Senior Privacy Strategist for Microsoft Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and from 2005–2011 he was Chief Privacy Adviser for 40 countries.[2][3] He has criticized PRISM, and says he had "no idea" about it during his time at Microsoft.[3]
