Cas Ariba is a village on the island of Aruba. It is located near the town of Santa Cruz in the center of the island.[1]
Geography and climate
The village of Cas Ariba is located in the hinterland of the island at an altitude of 72 metres (236 ft). Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba, is about 6.6 kilometres (4.1 mi) east-northeast from the village.
Cas Ariba has a tropical marine, semi-arid climate, and the temperature, moderated by constant northeast trade winds that come from the Atlantic Ocean, varies little seasonally. The average annual temperature is around 28 °C (82 °F), varying from about 26 °C (79 °F) in January to 33 °C (91 °F) in July. The rainy season occurs between October and December. The average annual rainfall barely exceeds 400 to 500 mm (15.7 to 19.7 in).
