Carychium minimum is a species of very small air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Ellobiidae.
Description
The shell is 1.6-2.2 mm. high x 0.9-1.1 mm. wide.It is wider than the shell of Carychium tridentatum. If the last whorl above the aperture is opened this shows the plica parietalis (a spiral ridge on the parietal region projecting into the interior of the shell) descending in a simple way downwards (see the figure below).
