Carrillo Airport (IATA: RIK, ICAO: MRCR) is an airport serving Carrillo,[2] a town in Guanacaste province, Costa Rica. The airport is situated between Playa Carrillo and Playa Sámara. It is also known as Carrillo (Samara) Domestic Airport.[3]
Facilities
The airport resides at an elevation of 2 feet (0.61 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 09/27 which measures 1,200 by 20 metres (3,937 ft × 66 ft).[2]
The airport consists of a simple, grassy landing strip and a covered shelter that is occasionally used to weigh luggage before boarding. There are no amenities nearby in the immediate vicinity.
