Caroline Carver is an English actress. Best known for the roles of many British television/films including Ingrid in The Aryan Couple and Sandy in My First Wedding and Princess Jessica in the TV film The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns. She is married to actor Kenny Doughty.
Work
Throughout her career, Carver has worked both in film and television. She played the young adult Hattie in the 1999 film Tom's Midnight Garden based on the book of the same name, alongside Anthony Way and Joan Plowright. Early film work also includes The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns (1999).
She won a Royal Television Society Best Actress Award for her performance in The Scarlet Pimpernel opposite Richard E. Grant. Her television work has ranged from costume drama, such as Sharpe's Peril, modern drama, including Spooks, Jonathan Creek and Rosemary & Thyme, to medical drama in the shape of Holby City and Doctors.
She recently wrote and produced the award winning short film You Me and Captain Longbridge.
She married her co-star Kenny Doughty from the movie the Aryan Couple (2004). In 2013, she played the role of Mandy in the stage play of the The Full Monty on tour.[1] She reprised the role in the West End in 2014.[2][3]
