Caroline Boudreaux

Caroline Boudreaux is an American businesswoman and social entrepreneur. In 2000, she founded The Miracle Foundation and is committed to empowering orphans to reach their full potential.

Biography

Caroline was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. As the youngest of nine children and a member of a supportive family, Caroline works to ensure the orphaned children supported by The Miracle Foundation grow up in the same type of loving home she did. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Psychology. She is married to Ed Goble and currently lives in Austin, Texas.

Career

After a chance encounter with an orphaned toddler in rural India during a vacation in 2000, Caroline left her TV advertising career and created a methodology that is revolutionizing orphanages worldwide, starting in rural India.

With no experience in management or fundraising, Caroline invested all her life savings and founded The Miracle Foundation on the idea that all orphans deserve clean water, nutritious food, high-quality healthcare, an excellent education, and a secure, loving home, so they can reach their full potential.

Awards

For her achievements with The Miracle Foundation, Boudreaux was presented with the Hope Award in 2005 and the Impact Award in 2008. In 2009 and 2013, she was recognized as one of 200 Young Global Leaders^[1] at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

She has been featured in a wide range of media, including CNN, Austin Woman Magazine,^[2] and “One Peace at a Time,” a 2009 film by Turk Pipkin. In 2014, she was honored as an Outstanding Humanitarian on International Woman’s Day 2014 by Ten Thousand Villages.
