Carmen Reece (born 11 May 1987) is an English singer-songwriter and pianist who released her first single she co-wrote and featured on as an unsigned artist "U GOT ME" (Parabeats feat. Carmen Reece.) Carmen then signed to an independent label 'RealMF' (2008-2011) in Los Angeles and found success with producer/songwriter Mark Feist after releasing her debut single, Right Here (written by Carmen Reece/Mark Feist/Wayne Hector) which made Billboard Chart history, being the only debut artist ever to climb from #12 and later #3 in two weeks on the Hot Top 40 Dance Airplay.[1][2]
Personal life
Carmen was born and raised in London, England, but now resides in Los Angeles. She started playing both the piano and flute at the age of 7. At the age of 11, she joined the National Children’s Orchestra Of Great Britain as a flutist and at the age of 12, Reece wrote her first song. She is a graduate from the Brit Performing Arts & Technology School.[3]
During her weekends, Carmen also studied ballet dance and tap dance.
