Carmel Convent High School

Carmel Convent High School is a school near Badlapur, Thane district. It was founded in 1990 by the sisters of the Congregation of Mother of Carmel, which is the first indigenous. Congregation of India founded in Kerala in the year 1866.[1]

This school is a co-ed. school. The school is currently governed by Sister MERCILIN. The school is located on the Katrap highway, close to Sun-n-Shade Resort and Indian oil petrol pump and is around 1Om away from the Badlapur station. The admission seats vs applications ratio last year was 1:4.[2]

This school divides its students in 4 houses, LISIEUX, CHAVARA, MT CARMEL, AVILA.

The school is affiliated with maharashtra state board of secondary education,vashi divisisional board,navi mumbai. The school has various activities planned for the students like singing competition,dance competition , etc. There are also outdoor sports like football , basketball. Teams are formed according to the houses. And points are given for each win in particular competition. And the winner house gets the school trophy. The school has a vast playground.
