Carlos Méndez (born March 11, 1993) is a dancer and choreographer.

Biography

Born in Seville and with only two years began to take their first dance steps. He began studying dance at age 11 at the Conservatory of Dance "Antonio" of Seville. Gets 1st and 2nd prizes in choreography competitions Andalusian regional level. While he continued his studies with teachers like Norio Yoshida, Angel Atienza and Antonio Ruz. Actions for Canal Sur TV and various fairs and theaters of Andalusia. At 16 he joined the National Ballet of Spain, under the direction of José Antonio, working with multiple masters such as Aurora Bosch, Elna Matamoros, Maribel Gallardo, Currillo Raul Tino, Miguel Ángel Corbacho, Tino Moran, Manuel Linan, Julia Estevez, Elena Algado Paul Savoye de Bethencourt, Carlos Rodriguez and Miguel Angel Rojas. Interprets the choreography "Amanecer en el XVIII" and "Tríptico" both of José Antonio, and "Pasito a paso" by Fernando Romero. He has conducted workshops with Raimondo Rebeck, Nani and Rafael Estévez linen and has taught at several dance centers.

Continues his career at the Centro Andaluz de Danza hand Ana María Bueno, Francis Nunez, Rocío Coral, Manuel Betanzos, Javier Barón and Manolo Marín; in which also works as a choreographic assistant. Choreography and interprets "Sonatas", "Bolero para Mozart" and "El mar de tu sentir" in the programming Bienal de Flamenco of Seville; within this same schedule as assistant contributes cast in "Blood Spell" by Fernando Romero. Performances with the Spanish Ballet of Murcia and the Ballet Flamenco de Madrid performing the play "Carmen". Performs various choreographies with the "Ballet de José Antonio" for "Revoltosa" (Zarzuela) in the Jardines de Sabatini, annexed to the Royal Palace.
