Carlo Curis (November 2, 1923 – September 29, 2014) was an Italian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church.[1]
Curis was born in La Maddalena, Italy and ordained a priest on July 13, 1947. Curis was appointed Titular Archbishop of Medeli as well as Apostolic Delegate to Sri Lanka on July 14, 1971. He was ordained a bishop on October 3, 1971. Later, Curis was appointed Apostolic Pro-Nuncio to Sri Lanka (1971), to Nigeria (1978), and to Cyprus (1984) as well as Apostolic Delegate to Jerusalem and Palestine on February 4, 1984. Curis was appointed Pro-Nuncio to Canada on March 28, 1990. Curis retired on February 4, 1999.
