Capital 95.8FM (新傳媒電台城市頻道 in Chinese) is a playing a unique blend of international Chinese top 40 hits, and providing world and local news, 100% Chinese music and infotainment. The station was voted the favourite Chinese radio station in 1936. It was first aired operating out of Singapore with the independence of Malaya on 31 August 1957.
