The Canadian National Time Trial Championship is a road bicycle race that takes place inside the Canadian National Cycling Championship, and decides the best cyclist in this type of race. The first edition took place in 1997. The first race winner of the road race championship was Eric Wohlberg in 1997. He shares the record for the most wins in the men's championship with Svein Tuft (7). The current champion of the race is Curtis Dearden, after Tuft did not defend his title in 2013. The women's record is held by Clara Hughes with 5 wins.
