Their version reached #56 on the Billboard Hot 100 when it was released as a single. The song was recorded in 1966 by The Toys on Dyno Voice. It was also recorded by The Four Seasons for their album Working My Way Back to You and More Great New Hits in 1966. The Colourfield recorded a cover of this song for their album Virgins & Philistines in 1985.
