Campo da Rainha[1] was a football field in Porto, Portugal that hosted football matches for FC Porto. It was the first field of the club, which served as their home ground, from 1906 to 1912, when the club replaced it by Campo da Constituição.
Opened in August 1906 by José Monteiro da Costa, FC Porto immediately sought a place to build its sports facilities. Next to the house of the president, in Rua da Rainha (whose name was changed after the Implantação da República for Rua Antero de Quental), José Monteiro da Costa rented the land from Companhia Hortícola Portuense, which was left as a non-cultivated space. It was created a field surrounded with official measures of seats for 600 people, a running track, a VIP tribune, a changing room equipped with showers and sinks, a bar and a gym. It was the first turf field in the country.
In 1907 the headquarters of FC Porto was moved from its first location in Rua Santa Teresa, to the field of Rua da Rainha. In the same year was added to the complex a tennis court.
In the year 1911, the club was told to vacate the land on Rua Antero de Quental, so that in the site a factory could be built. They moved to Campo da Constituição a year later.
