The Campeonato Nacional de Futsal Feminino is the women's premier futsal league in Portugal and is operated by the FPF and its played under UEFA rules.
It was created in 2013–14 season, joining the Portugal's 16 best teams, disputed in a regular phase divided in two geographic zones, North and South, followed by a Playoff contested by the top-4 teams in each zone. The remaining teams constest 1 relegation poule for each zone, with the 2 lower teams of each group being relegated to the Regional Leagues (Distritais). Each season 4 teams are promoted from previous edition of Taça Nacional de Futsal Feminino.[1][2]
Between 1996 and 2013, the National Champion was the winner of Taça Nacional de Futsal Feminino (only National Women's Competition), contested by the winners of the Regional Leagues.
