Established in 1968, Camp Olympia is an overnight summer camp located in Trinity, Texas, USA, for boys and girls ages 6–16.
Activities
Each Camp Olympia camper selects from over 40 adventure camp activities for an individualized summer camp experience, ranging from water skiing to golf to horseback riding, so campers get to choose the activities that interest them.
Camp Olympia college counselors serve as positive role models for the campers with a counselor to camper ration of 1:4 in each cabin.
Facilities
Camp facilities are available to book for weekend retreats during the school year. Retreat program schedules can be tailored to the needs of each individual retreat group, and Camp Olympia can facilitate groups up to 400 people, including a challenge course for team building.
History
All-American football players Chris Gilbert and Corby Robertson, Jr. of the University of Texas founded the camp in 1968.
