Cambridge Heath is a station in Cambridge Heath in east London. The station, and all trains serving it, is operated by Abellio Greater Anglia, on the Lea Valley Lines, and it is in Travelcard Zone 2.
Oyster card (pay as you go) was accepted at the station from 2 January 2008.
The typical off-peak service from the station is 4 trains per hour to London Liverpool Street southbound and 2 trains per hour to Enfield Town, as well as 2 trains per hour to Cheshunt. In the direction of peak travel there are additional trains giving 6 trains per hour. On Sundays, the station is served only by Enfield Town trains every 30 minutes each way.
Trains between Liverpool Street and Chingford used to serve the station, but these no longer call here. Cambridge services also don't serve the station.
The station (along with neighbouring London Fields) was only served at weekday peak periods for many years, with regular daytime services not restarting until May 1998 and evening & Saturday service in 2001.[2] The current 4 tph frequency was instituted in December 2005, along with a regular Sunday service (initially hourly, increased to every half hour the following year).
On 31 May 2015 the Liverpool Street-Cheshunt/Enfield Town services, will transfer from Abellio Greater Anglia to London Overground Rail Operations.[3][4]
