Calyciflorae

Calyciflorae are a grouping of plants that is no longer used by botanists. The group Calyciflorae was defined as polypetalae and dicotyledonous. The group comprised:

• Flowers with calyx where ovary is inferior, sepals united (gamosepalous) having cup shaped receptacle (thalamus) with a thin disc often lining the calyx tube.
