Calothamnus pinifolius (Dense clawflower) is a shrub species in the family Myrtaceae. It is endemic to the south of Western Australia, where it occurs on rocky slopes between Albany and Esperance.[2]
It is a prickly, erect shrub that grows to between 0.3 and 2 metres in height and produces clusters of red or flowers between July and January in its native range.[2]
The species was first formally described by Victorian Government Botanist Ferdinand von Mueller in the third volume of Fragmenta Phytographiae Australiae.[1]
