Cafe Nashville

Café Nashville Radio Show is a syndicated radio program owned and operated by OnAir Broadcasting, LLC. Cafe Nashville. The show launched as a one hour program on WKDF in Nashville, Tennessee in March, 2008, and now airs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week on Billboard & Mediabase Country Music reporting radio stations across North America. The show broadcasts from its studio on the world famous Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee.

Café Nashville has several variations of their broadcast. The original one hour broadcast of Café Nashville is sent to many affiliates across North America and Europe, there is now a 2 hour version airing in Europe as well and Café Nashville Overnights broadcast from 6 pm to 6 am, and there is a 24/7 satellite feed of Cafe Nashville for their radio affiliates in North America.

Café Nashville Overnights is a Radio Show that Broadcasts from 6pm to 6 am every night seven days per week. Hosted by Dallas Rogers, the show features all of today's top Country Music stars and the best up and coming stars of tomorrow.

Café Nashville - One Hour Show has been airing on affiliates all over the world since March 2008. It features the best of Today's Country Music.

Café Nashville which broadcasts in North America and Europe has recently signed a deal to expand their international broadcast to include airing their show in China. Brad Paisley’s “Southern Comfort Zone,” Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” and American Young’s “Love Is War” were chosen from more than 33 million additional submissions from China to go to space on the Shenzou 10 Space Rocket and be broadcast from the Chinese Space Station to all schools in China. The promotion was part of a 10-year cultural exchange program between the Beijing Harmony Culture Inheritance Foundation and On-Air Broadcasting’s syndicated show Café Nashville. The three songs were the only American music chosen.

Host of Café Nashville

The host of Café Nashville is Dallas Rogers who is an award-winning broadcaster, writer, musician and producer. Dallas' voice has been heard nationwide. He has hosted top-rated shows from Pittsburgh, PA, to Washington, DC: from Rochester, NY, to Boise, ID: from Salt Lake City, UT, to Portland, ME. Dallas has been the promo voice for great radio stations across the country like WWDC (DC101) in Washington, DC, WLKT (104.5 The Cat) in Lexington, KY, and WTCF (Pirate Radio 100.5) in Saginaw, MI. His comedy writing and original audio pieces have been used on the radio in all 50 states. Dallas was half of the award winning morning show “Wakin’ Up Country” on WKWS (Kicks96) in Charleston, WV, in the mid 90’s. Dallas went on to co-create “Dallas & Dixie In The Morning” on WGNE (99.9 Gator Country) in Jacksonville, FL.

Café Nashville is produced by Ruby Cortez. Ruby started her radio career as Promotions Director in 1997 at radio station, KTOM, and then moved to WCOS in Columbia, SC. In 2001 she moved to KQFC in Boise, ID where she spent the majority of her radio career.

The show engineer is Brandon Kaly. Brandon graduated top of his class at SAE, in Nashville, Tennessee.

History

Café Nashville launched in March 2008 on WKDF in Nashville, Tennessee by partners Jody Van Alin, Marvin Baker & Ann Gillis. As the show grew in North America and Europe, the partners formed ONAir Broadcasting, LLC. to expand Café Nashville into a 24/7 satellite feed as an owned and operated radio channel on AMC 8 distributed by Orbital Media Networks.

Since its inception in 2008, Café Nashville has garnered international audiences in North America and throughout Europe. Café Nashville Radio is a respected program in the country music industry.

Café Nashville radio show is one of very few national radio shows to be self-syndicated. The program is not connected to any national network or programming service, and is distributed directly to local stations. Café Nashville Radio one hour show is sent to the radio stations via a FTP link, but it’s also fed to stations 24/7 via satellite, so radio stations do not have to record the show for later broadcast, but rather they can use the satellite feed. The show is distributed over Orbital Media Networks.

On October 1, 2014, Café Nashville launched a night time show which airs from 7 pm to 1 am. The first affiliate was WTGE in Baton Rouge & Lafayette, LA. WTGE previously broadcast Lia's night time show in the same time slot.
