Shin Dong-woo (Hangul: 신동우; hanja: 申東佑; born June 16, 1991), better known by his stage name CNU (pronunciation: Shin-oo), is a South Korean idol and a member of boy band B1A4. He made a debut on the stage of MBC Show! Music Core on April 23, 2011. He has been part of five Korean mini albums, two Korean studio albums, and two Japanese studio albums. As of May, 2012, he played a part in a KBS sitcom "Seonnyeoga Pilyohae" (Korean: 선녀가 필요해). As of June 27, 2012, he is also making another debut in Japan as a member of B1A4[1] who has already topped the Tower Record Daily Chart - Most Reserved.[2]

He was educated at Bongmyung High School, Cheongju.

After years of training, CNU joined as a vocalist and rapper of B1A4. On April 11, 2011, WM Entertainment revealed CNU as the last member after releasing the news of B1A4 along with Jinyoung, Baro and Gongchan and Sandeul's pictures.[3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

On April 20, 2011, B1A4 released their debut Track "OK" and mini album "Let's Fly", making their debut on April 23, 2011 on MBC Show! Music Core.[8]

After their debut, B1A4 was invited to star in MTV's reality show Match Up with Block B.[9] As one of the projects for the show, B1A4 filmed a music video for "Only Learnt The Bad Things (못된 것만 배워서)."[10]
