CKPP-FM
CKPP-FM is a new radio station which will broadcast hot adult contemporary station at 107.9 MHz/(FM) in Prescott, Ontario, Canada.
History
On November 10, 2011, the owners of the Haliburton Broadcasting Group received approval from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to operate a new FM radio station at Prescott on 107.9 MHz.[1]
On April 23, 2012 Vista Broadcast Group, which owns a number of radio stations in western Canada, announced a deal to acquire Haliburton Broadcasting, in cooperation with Westerkirk Capital.[2] The transaction was approved by the CRTC on October 19, 2012.[3]
