CKEY-FM

CKEY-FM is a new tourist information radio station which will broadcast at 98.5 MHz/FM broadcasting in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. The station is owned by Douglas George Edwards, and will broadcast at 50 watts of power.
History
It is unknown when the application was approved by the CRTC; however, on the March 1, 2013 edition for the "Canadian Radio News for February 2013", it was announced that Edwards' application was granted by the CRTC. The station's new callsign will be CKEY-FM, which was previously used for CHKT in Toronto and CFLZ-FM in Niagara Falls. [1] [2]
