CISN-FM (103.9 FM) is a radio station that broadcasts from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is owned by Corus Entertainment, which also operates 630 CHED, CHQT 880, and Fresh Radio. The station has a country format, playing both current hits and past favourites. CISN is one of the longest Edmonton broadcasting stations on FM.[1]

The station has had a number of changes to their on-air lineup in recent years. In 2010 long time morning man Bruce Bowie left CISN to begin work as the morning host of sister station 630 CHED. At the same time Chris Scheetz moved from afternoons to mornings.[2]

In August 2011, morning show co-host Leslie Stein left CISN to Co-Host a morning show in Calgary on Up 97.7.[3]

In December 2014, CISN 103.9 was the fifth most listened to radio station in Edmonton.[4]

Awards

CISN-FM was the winner of the Canadian Country Music Association's Annual Country Station of the Year (Major Market Category) five times sinces the award's 2000 creation, having won in 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010 and 2012.[6][7][8][9][10]
