CIRV-FM

CIRV-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 88.9 FM in Toronto. The station airs a multicultural programming format. The station launched in 1986 at FM 88.7, and moved to its current frequency in 1993.[1][2] It is owned by Frank Alvarez, who also owns and operates FPTV, a Portuguese ethnic channel.
CIRV's programming is predominantly Portuguese, Spanish & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) although it also airs some Brazilian, Caribbean, Punjabi, Russian, Somali, Ukrainian and Urdu programming as well.
