CHHI-FM (Sun FM) is an English Language FM radio station operating a hot AC format on the frequency of 95.9 MHz in Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada. The station commenced broadcasting on May 6, 2013.
History and broadcasting
The Newcap Radio station received approval from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to operate the station on May 18, 2012. [1] The station was originally proposed to have been carrying a country music format, but switched to hot AC prior to launch, following the change of formats at competing station CFAN-FM 99.3 FM from adult contemporary to country.
