Buxton & Leek College is a further education college located in Buxton, Derbyshire and Leek, Staffordshire. It was formed in August 2012, following the merger of Leek College and the University of Derby, the combined college has the size and resources to provide a comprehensive, high-quality further education and training service to students of all ages and abilities from Leek and Buxton and the surrounding areas.

The recent merger between colleges of Further Education in Buxton and Leek has been praised as highly successful by OFSTED inspectors who have rated Buxton and Leek College as `Good`.

Buxton and Leek College offers a wide range of academic and vocational courses including A levels, apprenticeships, NVQs, BTECs and more.

It boasts industry standard facilities including the kitchens and restaurant for Hospitality & Catering courses, an Air cabin room for Travel & Tourism, Commercial Salons and Spa for Hair & Beauty and Skillsbase Training Centre for Motor Vehicle, Logistics, Welding and Painting & Decorating.

They also offer specialist training programmes for businesses looking to up skill and train the employees, which can be tailored to the needs of businesses and the industry they are in. These courses can be undertaken at the College campuses or on the business premises.

Buxton & Leek College is part of the University of Derby group meaning that progression to higher levels of study is easier than many other colleges. Students can progress onto higher education at the Buxton and Leek campuses as well as at the main University campus in Derby.
