Bunza is a Local Government Area in Kebbi State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Bunza.and was created out of the then sokoto state in 1975 during local government reform under the general Murtala administration, Bunza as a local government share boundary in the east with kalgo LGA which was carve of the present bunza in 1996,while in the north bunza LGA shared border with dandi and arewa local governments,also in the south is suru LGA that was removed from bunza in 1991 and also in the west. The major activities of Bunza people is mostly dry wet season farming. Bunza has four (4) district namely,Bunza,Raha,Zogirma and tilli the district head of Bunza is Alh Dr mustafa Bande Bunza.

It has an area of 876 km² and a population of 121,461 at the 2006 census.
