Bulgaria women's national basketball team

The Bulgaria Women's National Basketball Team is the women's national basketball team of Bulgaria.

Their achievements range from winning Silver at the 1959 FIBA World Championship for Women up to finishing fifth in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. In 1983 they successfully managed to achieve sixth position in the Brazilian World Championships, not to mention their second ranking in the 1984 Summer Olympics. Their best players include Evladiya Slavcheva, Krassimira Banova, Kostandinka Radkova, Petkana Makaveeva,Polina Tzekova, Madlena Staneva, Radmila Vasileva, Vanja Dermendjieva, Larisa Sashova.
