Buddleja davidii 'Markeep' (selling name Marbled White) is a cultivar raised by Elizabeth Keep at the East Malling Research Station in Kent, England.[1]
Description
Marbled White is a compact small shrub growing to a height of 1.5 m, approximately one-third the size of a typical davidii. The foliage is grey-green and of average size for the species. The inflorescences comprise panicles, 15–20 cm long, of pure white flowers subtended by leafy bracts. The flowers appear in summer and persist until the first frosts.[2]
Cultivation
Marbled White is cultivated in the UK, where it is included in the NCCPG National Collection held by Longstock Park Nursery near Stockbridge in Hampshire.
