Buddleja 'Hotblackiana' was derived from a rare, possibly unique, crossing of B. davidii var. veitchiana with B. forrestii by the Hotblack Nursery, Sussex, England, in 1952. [1]

Description

'Hotblackiana' produced panicles of dark lilac flowers with yellowish-brown eyes. [1]

Cultivation

'Hotblackiana' is not known to have been cultivated beyond the UK, and may no longer survive.
