Bucha (Ukrainian: Буча) is a city in Ukraine's Kiev Oblast. Population: 28,533 of inhabitants (census 2001).
Bucha was assigned city status on February 9, 2006.[1] Before 1996 Bucha was a town subordinant to Irpin city.
There is a glass factory in Bucha.
The town's main landmark is a 19th-century railway station.
Author Mikhail Bulgakov stayed in Bucha with his family during the summer season in his cottage.
