Bruno Heinemann

Korvettenkapitän Bruno Heinemann (born 14 October 1880, Stralsund; died 5 November 1918[1]) was a German officer killed during World War I. He was first officer of the battleship SMS König and was murdered by rebel sailors during the Wilhelmshaven mutiny, together with Wolfgang Zenker. The World War II German destroyer Z8 Bruno Heinemann was named in his honour.[2]
