Bruce Wilshire

Bruce W. Wilshire is an American philosopher and Professor Emeritus at the Rutgers University philosophy department, where he started teaching in 1970. He received his B.A from the University of Southern California and his M.A and Ph.D from New York University. In 2001 he was awarded the Herbert Schneider Award from the Society for the Advancement of American Philosophy.[1] He is also well known for his criticisms of analytic philosophy and his interest in Native American philosophy.
