Bruce Maggs
Bruce MacDowell Maggs is a former computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon University, currently teaching at Duke University, and Vice President of Research for Akamai Technologies. He specializes in computer systems and network theory research.
Personal life
Maggs is a co-creator of Avatar, an early multiplayer online game developed at the University of Illinois in the late 1970s.
