Bronius Vyšniauskas
Bronius Vyšniauskas (born 1 May 1923 Gelna, Kedainiai) is a Lithuanian sculptor. He is Honoured Art Worker of the Lithuanian SSR (1963), SSR State Prize (1973), SSR People's Artist (1973).[1][2]
Biography
In 1947, he graduated from Kaunas decorative and applied arts institute. Since 1947, he participated in exhibitions.[3] From 1948, he taught at the Vilnius Art Institute (Vilnius Art Academy), in 1978 becoming a professor.
Works
- Sculptural portraits (Casimir Būga etc..)[4] Chamber sculptures (Minute Holiday "in 1957," Mother and Child ", 1965), John Biliūno Anykščiai tombstones, tombstones, author of relief.
Notable works:
- Manufacturing and Construction, 1952, the Green Bridge in Vilnius sculptural composition (along with Napoleon Petrulis);
