The Broad Convergence for the Salvation of Angola (Portuguese: Convergência Ampla de Salvação de Angola) is a political alliance in Angola. Its members include the Angolan Free Alliance Majority Party, the Angolan Pacific Party, the Party for Democracy and Development in Angola-Patriotic Alliance and the National Salvation Party of Angola.[1]

History

The alliance was formed in March 2012 by Abel Chivukuvuku after he left UNITA.[2] It won eight seats in the prior to the 2012 National Assembly elections, making it the third largest faction in the National Assembly after UNITA and the MPLA.
