British Influence

British Influence is a cross-party pro-EU pressure group based in the United Kingdom. The group was founded in 2012 to make the case for the European Union amid increasing calls for British withdrawal from the EU.

Its co-presidents are Danny Alexander, Kenneth Clarke and Peter Mandelson.

Activities

The British Influence Group seeks to put forward the case for Britain's continued membership of the European Union.[1]

It currently runs the Our Biggest Market campaign [2] of small business leaders who want Britain to remain the European Union.

It publishes a daily Europewatch email of news and views on Britain's relationship with the EU.

The group runs the Future of Europe Forum of leading British MPs, Peers, businessmen and former diplomats to push the UK's EU reform agenda.

In 2013 the group published a manifesto written by MPs, Peers, former diplomats and business men, entitled Better Off in a Better Europe. [3]
