Britany van Lange

Britany Van Lange is a Guyanese swimmer.[1] At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's 100 metre freestyle, finishing in 42nd place overall in the heats, coming close to qualifying for the semifinals. Just prior to the Olympics she had attended the 2012 Carifta Swimming Championships in the Bahamas. This talented young swimmer attends The Bishops' High School and is currently in Grade 11 or form 5 majoring in Science. An avid reader of all things good. These incredible books include: - Hunger Games, Push, The Mortal Instruments Series and the Hush Hush Series. A swimmer from the age of 10 years old; she is a member of the Dorado Swim Club and shares this status with Athena Gaskin, Omari Dunn, Hannibal Gaskin,Omar and many other national swimmers. At the age of 16 years, she has attended 4 Goodwill Games. This was only accomplished with the great help of her mother, Kamala Van Lange, her coach and her sister, Sherry Van Lange.
