Bridget Turner
Bridget Turner (22 February 1939 – 27 December 2014) was an English actress,[1] born in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire).
She worked with a number of actors including Peter O'Toole, Elizabeth Taylor, Kirk Douglas, Bernard Blier, Trevor Howard, Bernadette Lafont, Richard Burton and Christina Ricci.
On 8 May 2009 John Cleese stated in an interview that Bridget was originally offered the part of Sybil Fawlty in Fawlty Towers back in 1974. She turned it down and the role was given to Prunella Scales.[2]
She died on 27 December 2014 at the age of 75.[3]
