Brianne Tutt (born July 9, 1992) is a Canadian speedskater from Airdrie, Alberta. She skated in the 1500 m event at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Just over a year before the Sochi Olympics, Tutt was involved in an incident where she collided with a fellow skater at the Calgary Olympic Oval which resulted in severe injuries including fractured vertebrae and ribs, as well as a broken skull. This also led to her being diagnosed with Bell's Palsy.[2] Despite this prognosis, Tutt would overcome most of these injuries with only hearing loss and nagging neck pain as a long-term result.[2]
Her father is hockeyplayer Brian Tutt who represented Canada at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France.[3]
